NEW: As part of the lecture series “Forschen für die Energiewende”, new ground was broken with a reading. First, Dr Ralf Preu gave a brief overview of the Fraunhofer ISE’s areas of work, and Dr Juliane Borchert reported on current research topics in photovoltaics. The main part of the evening then began with a reading by Michael Bukowski from his book Deutsches Sonnenmärchen. In his book, Michael Bukowski describes how photovoltaics achieved its global success starting from Germany and which key players contributed to this. It is a success story of which everyone involved can be very proud. The positive atmosphere then carried over into the lively discussion between the author and the participants.
