NEW: As part of the Fraunhofer ISE summer party, the Master Student Award, worth €1,000 each, was awarded to three winners: Thomas Schleyerbach, Sohaib Ehsan Bazai and Sven Knorz. In their Master’s theses, they successfully explored topics relating to Perovskite-Silicon tandem solar cells, biopolymer-based electrolytes for novel batteries, and the socio-economic assessment of the transformation of Germany’s building stock. The laudatory speeches were delivered by their respective supervisors. We would like to thank the supervisors, the members of the jury, everyone involved in organising the Master Students Award and, last but not least, all those who applied for the prize. We are delighted that the Master Students Award is now well established and that we receive numerous applications with every call for entries.
